Reservations Do
I Need Them?
Reservations are recommended but not mandatory. Reservations are highly recommended
on holiday
long weekends and during the busy periods in July and August. When
you make
a reservation you are guaranteed a site whenever you
arrive. You also have a better chance
of getting exactly the services
you desire. While specific sites cannot be guaranteed, we will always
do our best to accommodate your special requests. Reservations are
free. Unlike many Ontario Parks, including Ontario Provincial Parks,
we do not charge for reservations or changes. However, should you
decide to cancel for any reason, we do charge a one time cost recovery
fee of $15.00 for sites and $20.00 for Habitats prior to 7 days notice for sites and 14 days for Habitats. |

For Your Information
All reservations to Ontario Provincial Parks and reservations
made on Ontario Private Campground Association's 1-800 central reservation
systems are subject to a minimum $9.00 non-refundable reservation
fee, $6.00 change fee, and $6.00 cancellation fee. Many privately
owned campgrounds charge a fee for reservations. All Ontario Provincial
Parks, and many private campgrounds, also charge extra for the use
of showers, air conditioners and variable rates for a range of site
qualities. Before you make a decision based solely on published prices,
you may wish to consider all the included and not included items in
advertised prices. At Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park we do not
charge extra for reservations or changes, hot showers, activities,
wagon rides, cartoons or extra for the use of air conditioning and
heaters. |

Exchange Rates
Our published rates are shown in Canadian Dollars. Approximate
U.S. values are provided as a convenience for comparison purposes
using approximate exchange rates. As a convenience to our American
guests, we do offer the option of converting U.S. Dollars to Canadian
Dollars. Please note, when you use your credit card or debit card,
you will be charged in Canadian dollars. Your credit card company
converts the Canadian dollar amount into the currency of your home
country on your monthly statement at an exchange rate determined by
your credit card company. It is always best to buy Canadian dollars
at a Canadian Bank for the best possible exchange rate of the day.
The good news is that regardless of the exact exchange rate, the U.S.
dollar goes a very long way at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park. |
